This script doesn't work for me either, and I've written about it here before, but there's no response from the author of the script. At first, the red x did not work anymore to add users to the ignore list of this script. Then I added the users manually, but that hasn't worked for a while either. I will now try an older version as I am using YouTube Redux which forces the old user interface of YouTube.
