I tried fixing it at the time. But couldn't find out how to do it from my side.
I posted an issue about it on this extension's github in 2022. Got no response, sadly.

If I remember correctly it works fine if the Endless Scroll option from it is disabled.
It will conflict with the ESGST extension, which can cause the page to become stuck and unresponsive.
