Is it possible to make this script work on old IMDB site?

What do you mean exactly by 'old IMDB site'? There's no old IMDb website, there's only one IMDb which is www.imdb.com.

But there's an option to enable the reference layout which is the former IMDb design (Site Settings -> Site Preferences -> Show reference view (old title/name page layout)). Is this what you are referring to?

IMDb: Link 'em all! was specifically designed to support both the modern and the reference layout.

Yes. By old site I mean old layout.

Your script works only when it searches by ID, using {{IMDB_ID}}.
But for sites that search by movie name, for instance subtitles or YouTube, it is broken. {{IMDB_TITLE}} doesn't get the correct value.
