Every typo delays even when disabled in settings and it gets stuck sometimes not letting me enter the answer to the next item.

I'm not seeing this behavior when "Delay when answer has typos" and "Delay when multiple meanings" are turned off.
Could you follow up by posting a snapshot of your settings (for all tabs) in the Double-Check thread on the forums?

Also, this script does require Script Compatibility Mode to be turned on in the Wanikani settings (wanikani.com/settings/app)
