Extending the library

Hi,

I like your library, it's exactly what I was looking for,

I'd like to extend your functions, more specifically to add an "approximate" search by year (i.e. that looks for the title with nearest date to the one passed.)

Would you rather have me fork your library and include your code in a library of mine (with an @attribution to you), or propose modifications to your functions?
