It's about google's shenanigans aka Manifest v3 aka North Korea, so, the script managers succumbed to google have slow connections because of that MV3 or maybe bug in it, that is relevant for Tampermonkey for example.
The script managers who don't wanna live in North Korea will be banned by google eventually, like Violentmonkey for example.

You can bypass it now, don't install any google based browser.
