When videos are auto-playing continuously (playing next video) and the tab is in the background, the script pauses the video during quality switching but fails to resume it. When I switch back to the tab, the video resumes playing.
This only happens during auto-play of subsequent videos when the tab is backgrounded, not when actively watching with the tab focused.
