It's not that they don't get watched, it seems like the userscript caches https://www.youtube.com/feed/history, once you disable it, it loads normally. This issue has re-emerged if it was ever fixed.

Recently for some reason this script and Youtube Web Tweaks script both makes it so that videos dont get registered as watched. As in they don't show up in my watch history.
