Thanks, your comment reminded me to update the version I have here: it now expands top-level collapsed comment threads when you open a post and does the same for any found in the new comments when you click 'Continue ...' or 'Load more ...'. If the new behaviour bugs you let me know, I can add a setting so you can disable it if need be :)
