Disable link dragging and select text.
< 脚本 Select text inside a link like Opera 的反馈
Actually this script just disabled link dragging. You can still drag link by holding Ctrl or Shift.
I had tried to detect that the user was dragging link or selecting text by calculating mouse move direction. But it seems that you can't stop dragging after dragging start. So it's pretty useless.
Also, Mozilla had implement opera's behavior in nightly build. Maybe it will come into Firefox in the future! https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=378775
I'll try to find a workaround, but it will take some time.
Fixed at version 4.0
Now the script won't disable vertical dragging.
Great job!! Thanks!
Drag links to new tabs/toolbars
Links become undraggable. Selected text from link, when dragged to tab-bar, opens search for this selected part of link.
Can you combine dragging of links (without text-selection) to new tabs/toolbars and selecting text in Opera style?
