I've had a quick look at that userstyle and it seems to work perfectly if you turn "Retro Mode" off. Just click 'more' below the video and then 'toggle Retro Mode'.
Unless you're wanting the dark style to work with Retro Mode? I might need to contact the DarkTube dev to work together on that.
